I was born and raised in a small town in rural south Georgia that you likely don’t know the name of, and because I love the intrigue, it’ll remain that way for now.

I departed from the green pastures and hospitality I knew to take on the beast that is New York City, where I pursued a BA in Economics and Ethnic Studies. New York was at once a single city and the whole world, and it filled me with experiences and perspectives that I still carry to this day.

Upon graduation, I pursue a corporate career and quickly found I was in the wrong place. I decided in the midst of my own personal rock bottom that the best way to live was with a commitment to myself that reflected my love for myself… and the life I was leading blossomed immediately.

My community rejuvenated my heart, and opened me up to experiencing the abundance that I believe artists carry. In truth, art made me playful again. Because I am a person that is always looking for a challenge, I took the most ambitious leap that I could at the time and pursued a career in film.

Two years later, I’ve relocated to Hollywood, gained experience as a producer, assistant director, script supervisor and more. Now, I am embarking on the journey of directing my first film - A Minuit.

At my core, I am passionate about doing work on the level of the heart, and I hope to deposit more into yours as well. Stay curious about the world around you and the people next to you.
